Charles and Mary have been playing for years. They had won small prizes here and there but nothing would prepare them for this stroke of luck!

 찰스와 메리는 몇 년 동안 파워볼을 구매하였다. 그들은 여기저기에서 작은 금액의 당첨은 되어본적이 있지만  이 엄청난 행운의 비하면 그것들은 아무것도 아니다.

Charles always buys his tickets at the same store. He stops by Villas Market LLC, at 902 Bayshore Road, Villas and buys 2 Powerball tickets. This time he bought five.

찰스는 평소  902 Bayshore Road, Villas에 위치한  Villas Market 에 들러 2개의 파워볼을 구매하지만 이번에는 5개의 파워볼을 구매하였다.

The next day he asked the cashier is anyone had won the Jackpot. He replied that the Jackpot rolled but someone had won $1M. He joked and answered that he was the winner before checking his ticket. He turned out to be right.

다음날 그는 티켓을 구매했던  판매소에가서 점원에게 잭팟에 당첨된 사람이 있는지 물었다. 점원은  잭팟 당첨은 나오지 않았지만  누군가가 $1 Million 에 당첨이 되었다고 대답했다.  찰스는  본인 티켓을 확인하기전에 농담으로 자기가 $1Million에 당첨되었다고 얘기를 하였는데 실제로 그가 $1Million에 당첨이 되었다

The happy couple went to Lottery headquarters and claimed their prize. “Now we won’t have to worry about retiring”, Charles said.

이 행운을 거머쥔 커플은 복권 본사에가서 상금을 수령하였다. 찰스는 "이제는 은퇴에 대해 걱정을 안해도 된다" 며 기뻐하였다.
